What's the difference between Quick Scout Reports and Advanced Scout Forms?
Quick Scout Reports are designed for rapid entry of essential player information observed during a match. They include basic fields for recording player details, strengths, weaknesses, and ratings.

Advanced Scout Forms provide an extensive evaluation framework with detailed assessment categories for physical, technical, tactical, and psychological attributes. These forms are ideal for comprehensive player evaluations and include over 40 rating fields for in-depth analysis.
What are Shadow Teams and how do they work?
Shadow Teams allow you to create virtual squads combining both scouted and custom players to visualize potential team compositions. You can:
  • Create multiple shadow teams for different purposes (first team, youth team, transfer targets, etc.)
  • Select from different formation templates (4-4-2, 4-3-3, 3-5-2, etc.)
  • Drag and drop players into specific positions on the field
  • Save different lineup variations for each shadow team
  • Analyze how scouted players would fit into your existing squad
This feature helps recruitment teams visualize how potential signings would integrate into their team structure.
What's the difference between scouted players and custom players?
Scouted Players are those for whom you've created a scouting report based on actual match observations. These reports include detailed evaluations, strengths, weaknesses, and context about the game where they were observed.

Custom Players are profiles you create manually without a scouting report. This feature lets you add players to your database without having scouted them in person - useful for adding existing squad members, creating placeholder profiles for potential targets, or recording players based on video analysis or secondary information.
Can I export my scouting data?
Yes, ScoutTrack Football allows you to export your scouting data in multiple formats:
  • CSV export of your entire player database or filtered results
  • PDF export of individual scouting reports
  • Printable team sheets for shadow teams and lineups
This makes it easy to share information with coaches, directors, or other stakeholders who may not have direct access to the platform.
Is ScoutTrack Football mobile-friendly?
Yes, ScoutTrack Football is fully responsive and works on smartphones, tablets, and desktop computers. Our mobile interface is optimized for quick data entry at matches, while the desktop version provides expanded views for more detailed analysis. You can seamlessly switch between devices using the same account.
What browsers are supported?
ScoutTrack Football works with all modern browsers, including:
  • Google Chrome (recommended)
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Safari
  • Microsoft Edge
For the best experience, we recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
Is there an offline mode?
Currently, ScoutTrack Football requires an internet connection to function fully. However, we understand that scouts often work in locations with limited connectivity. While we don't offer a complete offline mode, we are developing features to allow basic data entry when offline, with automatic synchronization when connection is restored.

What are the different user roles?
ScoutTrack Football offers three user roles with different permission levels:
  • Admin: Full access to all features, can manage team members, change settings, and access all data. Can add/remove users and change their roles.
  • Scout: Can create and edit scouting reports, view player database, and use shadow teams. Cannot manage team members or change system settings.
  • Manager: Can view all scouting reports and analytics, but cannot create or edit reports. Ideal for coaches or directors who need to review but not input data.
Can I track my scouts' activity?
Yes, ScoutTrack Football includes scout performance tracking features:
  • Number of reports submitted (total and monthly)
  • Last active dates for each team member
  • Analytics on scout productivity and focus areas
  • Scouting distribution by position, age group, or region
This helps recruitment directors monitor productivity and ensure balanced coverage across all scouting priorities.
How do I share my team ID with new members?
Your Team ID is available in the Team Management section. New members can use this ID during registration to join your team. We recommend using the direct email invitation system rather than sharing your Team ID, as this ensures proper role assignment and provides a smoother onboarding experience for new team members.
